“BOOK BANK READING CLUB”

Program Format:

The Book Bank Reading Club is a program designed to promote literacy and education among underprivileged inner-city youth by providing them with access to books, volunteer storytellers, and inspirational messages. Book Bank Reading Club is held at local libraries or community centers and includes scheduled reading sessions where children can participate in the storytelling and engage with volunteers who share a love of reading. This is a recurring event that takes place once every month.

Objectives:

Our primary objective is to promote literacy and education among inner-city youth, which will help them develop the skills they need to succeed academically and in life. By providing access to books, a guest speaker or inspirational message, we aim to foster a love of reading and inspire children to learn and explore new ideas.

Current Metrics:

The Book Bank Reading Club has served thousands of underprivileged inner-city youth over our 27 years of service. Our program specifically targets youth who come from low-income communities that are lacking access to books and other educational resources. Through this program, we have provided children’s books and inspirational messages, helping to promote literacy and education within the city.

Sponsor:

We rely on the support of our private donors to provide the resources and materials needed to run our program. Our sponsors include local businesses, individuals, and community organizations who share our commitment to promoting literacy and education among inner-city youth.

Service Areas:

Metro, Atlanta.
